Employment

• Minimum 7 years experience in product and process engineering. Also prefer 3+ years of automation/mechanization experience.
• BS or MS, Mechanical Engineering.
• 3D Solid Modeling.
• FEA for Stress/Strain and Thermal effects on mechanics.
• Software Programming (C++, Lab View, VB).
• Project management and creation of clear and concise reports.
• Strong analytical, organization, planning, project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong statistical data analysis skills.
• Flexible result oriented team player.
• Independent, reliable, self motivated, quick starter.

Description:

• Develop mechanical product designs within the NPI phase.
• Develop and implement automated and manual tooling for efficient product manufacturing.
• Analyze mechanical designs for manufacturability, reliability, integrity
• Specify and document product component and assemblies for fabrication.
• Develop tooling to manufacture opto-mechanical products.
• Write automation software for manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Define and document assembly and test processes.
• Transfer product and processes to suppliers and CMs.
