Software Engineer (Job Requisition: SW03)

Job Description

Capella is looking for a software engineer to join our team. In this position, the engineer will be writing software for Capella’s WavePath® products. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in writing software in C and or C++. In this position, the candidate will be working with a senior group of real-time embedded software engineers developing new features for the Capella product family. The ideal candidate will have experience developing drivers, servo systems, and other firmware in mission critical applications.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Qualified candidate will have BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and/or equivalent discipline or experience
Comprehensive knowledge of programming skills must be demonstrated
Experience on a team engineering/product project required
Knowledge in hardware design and electronic circuitry required
Experience with real-time software and design a plus
Experience with telecommunication product requirements and operations a plus
Experience with Labview and Perl programming a plus
